Submarine chaser SC 50 was commissioned at New York on 19 April, 1918, and served in the Third Naval District.
This photo shows SC 50 after a collision with a shore patrol vessel. Caption: "On arrival of the fleet the Chasers took part in the parade, the S.C. 50 was run into by S.P. [??] the 292 was the first boat to reach her."
